How this list is built
- Rank orders sites by SimilarWeb's estimate of total monthly visits in August 2026, the latest complete month (later months are still provisional and not used). Visits are estimates, comparable across sites but not exact, and app or API use is not counted.
- Which sites count: An AI video tool here is a product whose core job is making or editing video with AI. General-purpose video editors where AI is one feature (CapCut, Clipchamp, VEED, Kapwing, Descript) and image-first platforms where video is a side feature (Midjourney, Leonardo, Krea, OpenArt) are left out because their traffic cannot be split, as are model APIs for developers and second domains of a brand already listed. Some sites are independent products named after a model they use; a listing ranks a website, not a model maker. Each site is checked by hand, and every site left out is listed below with the reason. The type column says what kind of tool it is.
- Monthly growth compares SimilarWeb monthly visits in Aug 2026, the latest complete month, with Jul 2026.
- Took off is the month of the site's latest take-off under the engine's rule: visits reached at least 100,000 a month and three times their level about six months earlier, at a new high, and the next measured month also cleared the 3× bar (a later tenfold jump counts again). Only take-offs confirmed by Aug 2026 are shown. A dash means no take-off in the data we hold.
- Site profile pages linked from the table use TrendBreakouts' monthly dataset (currently July 2026), which lags the growth engine, so their visit figures can differ from this table. Sites without a profile page are listed without a link.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the best AI video generator in 2026?
- We rank by use, not by testing output quality: by SimilarWeb monthly visits in August 2026, the most used AI video tools are higgsfield.ai (32M), kling.ai (12M), heygen.com (10M), pollo.ai (7M) and invideo.io (6M). The table lists the top 24. Which one is best for you depends on the kind of video you make (generated clips, avatars, clipping or ads), which the type column shows.
- Which AI video tools are growing fastest?
- Among the tools in this list, vibes.ai (+53.2%), viggle.ai (+23.0%) and magiclight.ai (+21.6%) grew their visits most from Jul 2026 to Aug 2026. One month of change is noisy; the "Took off" column shows which tools had a sustained surge.
- Why are CapCut and Midjourney not on the list?
- CapCut, Clipchamp, VEED, Kapwing and Descript are general video editors with AI features, and Midjourney, Leonardo, Krea and OpenArt are mostly image tools that also make video. Their traffic cannot be split between AI video and everything else, so counting it would overstate AI video use.
- How is the traffic measured?
- Visits are SimilarWeb estimates of total monthly visits to each site in August 2026, the latest complete month, so they are comparable across sites but not exact. A site's app traffic and API use are not counted.
- How often is this list updated?
- We aim to refresh it about once a month from the engine's latest data; the date at the top of the page shows the last refresh (2026-10-01). Visits are for August 2026, the latest complete month of SimilarWeb data.
